UK Visas fees
All the fees below are quoted in pounds sterling, but are usually payable in local currency. Please contact your nearest British mission overseas to find out what their local fees are and how you can pay for your visa.
These fees are effective for all visa applications made from 1 July 2005.

- Dependants are charged the same fee as the main applicant. All dependants who are travelling must pay the fee whether or not they are included in the main applicant's passport.
- Fees are usually payable in local currency and are subject to periodic review.
- The fee is charged to cover the cost of processing an application. If an application is refused, the fee is not refundable.
